With a Jazz concert and a poetic lecture under the light of the summer full moon, the Open Air Museum of Contemporary Art in Morfovouni, Lake Plastiras officially began its operations.
The curtain of the events was opened by the internationally known saxophonist Dimitris Vassilakis, accompanied by Lakis Tzimkas (double bass) and Eljona Eleni Sinjiari on vocals and ancient Greek Lyra.
The recitation of poems was undertaken by Mr. Vassilis Doulias, director of the Theater Group “OM” of the Municipality of Limni Plastira, and the narration by Mrs. Elena Michaelou.
The event entitled “The Dream Begins” was part of
the publicity and promotion sub-project that the companyLever Development Consultants has undertaken, with the completion of the 1st phase of development of the museum.
The event was coordinated by the deputy mayor for Culture and Tourism, Ms. Ioanna Podimatas.
The event, on the rocks of the “Stefani” site of Morfobouni, illuminated by the first summer full moon, in a unique visual environment that nature itself forms.
